4. the smell of Café du Monde at 4 am
5. the feeling of my mom’s back during a bike ride, when I would cuddle up to her as a child
6. the rainbow I saw on Easter morning, 2008 on my way to work – there was 6 inches of snow on the ground
7. Dancing with Adam to Come Away With Me at the end of our wedding reception
8. My first kiss in the rain.
9. My nephew being born – an absolute miracle.
10. The smell of the library in the town I grew up in, where I used to spend hours after school.
11. New Years Eve in Costa Rica, where Dave made the game hens dance.
12. Having Dim sum in Chinatown in San Francisco for the first time.
13. Watching falling stars in the backyard one summer with Bobby, my next door neighbor, when I was about 9.
14. Going to a play in London’s West End by myself – at fourteen, and feeling so grown up.

16. My first live concert – REM.
17. Walking into our house, and knowing it would be ours even though we had no idea how to afford it.
18. Finding out Adam passed the bar.
19. Crying happy tears through my sister’s entire wedding.
20. Sitting on the balcony in New Orleans, listening to the street musicians, while Adam slept inside.
21. Driving in my car with all the windows down on a summer day, with great music turned WAY up.
22. Seeing Kate in California, looking happy and free.
23. Coming face to face with Cara Blanca monkeys while on horseback in the rainforest in Costa Rica.
24. Drinking diet pepsi and reading tabloids at my grandma’s house.
25. Voting in my first presidential election – after driving all the way home from college, because I forgot to request an absentee ballot, then immediately driving back, so I could go to class. Yes, it’s that important.
